Personal Training Session Terms & Conditions

Payment

All payments are to be made in advance of any training undertaken. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your personal training session, you must contact your trainer at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of your session. If you fail to do so you will be charged the full fee and your session will be forfeited. Alterations to this policy will be made at the sole discretion of your trainer.

Tardiness

Please arrive on time for your personal training sessions. Training sessions will finish at the allocated time even if you arrive late. If you are more than 15 minutes late to a personal training session, your session may be cancelled and you may be charged the full fee. If a trainer is late you will be allocated your full training time. We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement of your training session so that you may warm-up. This way you will be ready to begin training immediately.

Refunds and credits

We do not offer refunds or credits. Please ensure you understand your training options prior to making a purchase. If your training needs change after a purchase, please contact us to discuss alternate training options.

Sun Smart Policy (for clients/participants of outdoor/walking programs and activities)

The health and wellbeing of our clients is a priority issue for That’s Fitness.

Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, with two out of three people experiencing some form of skin cancer during their lifetime. That’s Fitness acknowledges and recognises that skin cancer is a preventable disease and will actively promote, encourage and support skin protection at all walks, projects, events, activities and functions with which they are associated.

Where possible That’s Fitness will:

·    Schedule walks, fitness activities, functions and events to avoid some if not all of the peak ultraviolet period (11am to 3pm daylight saving time) or between 10am to 2pm.

·    Where possible, rotate staff duties to minimise time exposed to UV (staff will be encouraged to schedule their own duties to minimise time exposed to UV)

·    Actively encourage all staff/clients/participants to routinely wear sun protective clothing. This includes: shirts or tops which have longer sleeves and a collar; longer legged shorts where appropriate; wide brimmed or legionnaire hats whenever practical; and sunglasses to protect the eyes

·    Actively encourage and remind staff/clients/participants to bring their own shade structures to events, e.g. umbrellas

·    Actively encourage all staff/clients/members/participants to routinely use broad spectrum water resistant 30+ sunscreen and stress the importance of regular reapplication (at least every two hours).

·    Promote sun safety through event advertising, newsletters, brochures and over the public address system where appropriate at events.

·    Actively encourage appropriate staff in prominent positions to be SunSmart role models during all highly visible activities.

·    Advise all staff/clients/members/participants about the SunSmart Policy and encourage them to comply with it.

This Sun Smart Policy will be reviewed annually to ensure that the document remains current and relevant.
